Members, Volunteer and Youth engagement and management
The focus of this strategic priority is to enhance the active engagement of membership and volunteers in all Red Cross activities through modernizing the membership and volunteers’ recruitment, engagement and data registration processes of the national society through digital technology. It emphasizes on active member engagement and aims to enhance contributions to the Ethiopian Red Cross Society (ERCS) nationwide. The priority also explores better ways to engage and manage volunteers, ensuring their meaningful involvement in achieving the ERCS mission.
Additionally, this priority emphasizes youth engagement and management, aiming to develop young people who actively contribute to the ERCS humanitarian mission. This includes promoting peace, upholding the fundamental principles of the Red Cross, and ensuring that youth play an active role in leadership, strengthen volunteer-based services, and provide community service.
