World Red Cross Red Crescent Day Celebrated

The Ethiopian Red Cross Society(ERCS) marked the 151st World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day with an event named as Walk for Humanity in Addis Ababa on the 11th of May 2014.
Some 2,000 participants including management and staff members of ERCS, IFRC, ICRC, partner national societies, Red Cross youth and volunteers, and companies supporting the cause took part in the humanitarian walk that started at Theodros Square and passed through Churchill Street before it ended at the Ethio-Cuba Friendship Park aka Dilachin Monument in Addis Ababa.
The Federal Police Marching band and ERCS Addis Ababa Branchs band made the event colorful.
