Oromia Branch Office of ERCS reviews annual plan performance

The Oromia regional branch office of the Ethiopian Red Cross Society (ERCS) conducted its 2013/14 annual review meeting to deliberate on planned activities and performance in Ziway aka Batu town from 4 to 5, 2014.
During the review meeting each zonal branch presented its achievements and drawbacks against the planned activities.
Participants of the meeting that comprised all zonal branch heads, board members and other pertinent staff members within the branch deliberated on the presentations for two consecutive days at Haile Resort.
According to Ato Mohammed Dada, head of the regional branch office, the review meeting is successful in identifying the strength and weakness in the fiscal years performance. He said that a consensus has been reached amongst the participants of the meeting to achieve more and fill the gaps of some zonal branches who failed to meet their plan to excel in the ambulance service and membership drive.
The review meeting pin-pointed that the fund raising endeavors to construct buildings for income generating activities as well as capacity building training as a strength that needs to be further expanded.
