ERCS Recognizes Donors For Drought Victims

The Ethiopian Red Cross Society (ERCS) recognized those who have supported its ongoing drought response endeavors on its annual Fundraising Dinner Night in the presence of H.E Dr. Mulatu Teshome, FDRE President and ERCS Patron, on July 30, 2016.
The society gave the recognition award to various private sectors, governmental and nongovernmental organizations, media institutions, philanthropies as well as individuals who have supported the drought victims.
While welcoming the invitees, Dr Ahmed Reja, President of ERCS, said, So far, ERCS has supported more than 300,000 women and children affected by the drought and flooding occurred in some parts of the country with the support of compatriots in and outside the country.
The Fundraising Dinner brought more than 80 organization representatives together and accompanied by open auction, lottery draw, and stage performances.
