ERCS organizes a workshop with its stakeholders and partners

The Ethiopian Red Cross Society (ERCS) organized a workshop with its Stakeholders and Partners with the intention of collecting inputs for the development of ERCS Migration Strategy at its Center of Capacity Building for Humanitarian Services (the former Training Institute) from 13 – 15 February 2018.
The workshop was organized in collaboration with International Federation of the Red Cross and Danish Red Cross to create an overall vision and direction of short and long-term outcomes for ERCS engagement on migration in line with its strategic plan and Red Cross Migration Strategy.
With the intention of initiating useful feedback from the participants, a research entitled Setting the Scene: an overview of Migration and Displacement phenomenon in Ethiopia, a Situation Analysis: UNHCR on Refugees and ICRC: Restoring Family Link RFL & Launch of Trace a Face in Ethiopia were presented by Dr. Grmachew Adugna, Richelle Haynes Protection Officer Mixed Migration, UNHCR and Amaya Fernandez, Deputy Protection Coordinator in charge of RFL in the order they appear.
