Ministry of Health Awards ERCS for its Contribution in Provision of Essential Medical Care During Emergency Period
FDRE Ministry of Health awarded the Ethiopian Red Cross Society(ERCS) ‘in recognition of its outstanding contribution in supporting health facilities and providing essential medical care during emergency period’.
Representing ERCS, Ato Dires Desyibelew, Deputy Secretary General of the Society received the award and the certificate of recognition in a ceremony held at Bishoftu town.
The senior management handed over the award to the governing board of ERCS.
The Ethiopian Red Cross Society (ERCS) and the Ethiopian Ministry of Health (MoH) have a well-established partnership, in ambulance and emergency services, emergency medical supply delivery, health system strengthening, disease prevention and control, and others.
