The Ethiopian Red Cross Society (ERCS) Conducted a Consultative Workshop on the Revised Curriculum and a developed proposal of its School of Humanity, yesterday in Addis Ababa.
The workshop aims to deliberate on the revised curriculum of the school and the comprehensive proposal developed to strengthen the programs that will be resumed next year.

Opening the workshop President of ERCS, Ato Abera Tola, noted “Through our School of Humanity, we have already planted the seed of humanity and it is now germinating.”
Ato Abera urged,” we have to nurture it, we have to provide everything it needs and that’s why we are having this workshop today.

Dr.Demeke Achiso, Dean of the school and Dr.Temesgen Fereja the Vice Dean presented the newly revised curriculum and the proposal respectively and discussion on the presentations was held by participants.

Secretary General of ERCS, Ato Abera Lulessa noted that the school aims to change the minds of the youth towards peace, promote culture of non-violence and peaceful co-existence in the community and urged the Partner National Societies and movement partners to be an advocate of the school wherever they go.

It was last January that the School of Humanity graduated its first round students with a special diploma, colorfully.
