Inception workshop conducted

On 9th of August 2022, ERCS has conducted a one day Cash Transfer Program (CTP) inception workshop to implement Hunger Crisis Response Project in the most affected areas of the SNNP, Somali and Oromia Regions. Representatives from the relevant government offices of the target beneficiaries participated. The project is designed to benefit 4,323HH through multipurpose cash transfer. Each HH is to receive 6,000.00 ETB. It is believed that the CTP is a new and a better way of addressing beneficiaries.

It was learnt from Ato Dires Desyibelew, Program Advisor of the Deputy Secretary General that the Ethiopian Red Cross Society in partnership with the Red Cross Family has planned to reach 680,000 people in order to implement the Hunger Crisis Response Project.
